Currently she enjoys working in oil, acrylic, pastel and watercolor. Her work is represented in five area galleries, including the Artists' Gallery in downtown Columbia. Says Rana, "Horses have always been my favorite subjects when painting. From a very early age, I have had a deep love and appreciation for them. I hope the viewer can feel the close relationship and intimacy I have shared with these beautiful animals."
Clarksville resident, Nancy Davis, is an oil painter. She has studios in Clarksville and Tilghman Island, Maryland. The Artists’ Gallery is Columbia’s only artist-owned and artist-operated art gallery. All art in the Gallery is original, or a controlled reproduction of the artist's original work. Many of our members are award-winning, nationally recognized artists. Techniques represented include acrylic, oil and watercolor painting, pastel, colored pencil, traditional, hand-colored, and/or digital photography, graphite, charcoal drawing, stained glass, mixed media, and clay. Our work is owned by art collectors throughout the United States and overseas. The Artists’ Gallery was selected by Maryland Life Magazine readers as the Free State’s Finest BEST Gallery in 2011 in the central region of Maryland!
